MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ontario Secondary School Diploma or academic equivalent;
  • NFPA 1001 - Fire Fighter I & II Certified from an accredited institution; (with either Proof of Pro Board Seal or IFSAC);
  • Completion of the Ontario Fire Administration-Candidate Testing Program Stages One, Two and Three
  • Completion of OFAI Swim Test (as verified by possession of a current and valid certificate) with a deadline to submit of February 1, 2023. For more information on candidate testing go to: ofai.ca.

OR

  • The ability to attain certifications within 18 months from the date a conditional offer of employment is extended;
  • Valid and current First Aid and CPR Certificate;
  • Valid Ontario Driver’s Licence with ability to obtain DZ licence from the date a conditional offer of employment is extended;
