Candidates may bring their own Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to wear for the Stage Three Firefighter Technical Skills Assessment.  All PPE will be inspected to ensure it meets the required standard for testing.  If you do not have your own PPE, we have many types and sizes available for use. Candidates must wear the supplied PPE for Stage Two Encapsulated Treadmill Test (ETT) and Stage Three Firefighter Physical Aptitude Test (FPAT) with the exception of gloves. Candidates may wear their own gloves for the FPAT and ETT provided that they meet the criteria as outlined here.
